Some Sand, Some Fun, and A Crazy Cat!

So we traveled south to celebrate our 236 years of independence (the only reason I know that is because of an electronic billboard). Anyhow... we had the best time! One reason it was so fun is because my Grandma made the trip with us! She's getting brave in her old age. :) I must say a BIG THANK YOU to Aunt C and Uncle S for once again giving us shelter and food...by the way the food was AMAZING!!!!

The golf cart has been the BEST investment Aunt C & Uncle S made...the boys LOVE it!

This boy is sooooo funny...I just love him!

Some of (well the majority of) my childhood beach memories involve blow up floats and noodles. So blessed to be able to make these memories with my boys.

So wish yall could really see this hair do....it was cracking me up!!

For those of yall that know Lo personally, you know that these two pictures so TREMENDOUS improvements! This was the child that SCREAMED if a grain of sand even thought about touching his body. Now look at him! Feet, hands, legs, arms, face, and tummy covered in sand!

We headed back to the beach for fireworks...for some reason my boys have a phobia of sitting on the sand/grass/dirt....so this is the best  I could get and even then Lo wasn't looking at me...his face...hahaha!!!

Aunt C and Uncle S!!!
Yeah! Grandma on the beach!! She stayed out of trouble...for the most part. :) What happens at MB, stays at MB. :)

Thanks Aunt C for taking our picture.

Had a little trouble taking pics of the fireworks this time...forgot to change the ISO too 100...didn't remember until the end...oopps!

Yes I did it...I made my boys wear matching smocked swim trunks. Give me a break...it took me 6 years and this probably will be the last year Au will let me. :)

Look at Lo's face...he has such a temper and most of the time it can get to me but today it was kind of funny. He was mad cause his wagon was stuck in the sand.

Pete the Cat gone WILD
(pics not apropriate for classroom blog..hahaha!!)

Pete the Cat made the trip with us and for most of the time he was very well behaved...but he got kind of wild at the "Back Porch"..... Aunt C had to help him out a little and that's a big deal cause she is a dog-lover....she has 3 four-legged children and 2 four-legged step-children :)
And this is what happened to Pete afterward....wonder if Aunt C was really being nice.... :)
Then he tried his paw at gambling...he won a $1!!!

And lastly...some so sweet pictures of a little boy that called my name 34 times in a 30 mintue time period on the way home. I know cause I kept a tally...just so you know that's 0.88 "mama"-s every minute!
Got to love him!!!
